Diagonal of square will be the diameter
1st statement area of square is 8 let x be side so x^2 =8 also diagonal of square is root 2 side so statement 1 sufficent
2nd statement is sufficient too

Question stem: Radius,r=?

St1:- The inscribed square has an area of 8.
We can determine the length of side of the square. Hence, we can determine the diagonal of square(using diagonal=\(\sqrt{2}\)* length of side)
Here, diameter of circle=diagonal of square
Hence radius can be determined.
Sufficient.

St2:- The diagonal of the inscribed square is \(\sqrt{8}\) units long
Here, diameter of circle=diagonal of square
hence, radius can be determined.
Sufficient.
Actual computation is not required.
