We are looking for non Positive integer, so n will be equal to 0 or <0..
Therefore statement II does not add anything to it by giving n<1..

Our answer will be A or E...

Statement I..
AVG of n^2 and n is 6..
So $$n^2+n=2*6=12.........n(n+1)=12=4*3=-4*-3$$
So n is -4...
Suff

A
