1. 2X = Y+6
2. Y/2 = X-3

\(\frac{x}{2}-\frac{y}{4}\)

is equal to

\(2x - y\)

1. \(2x = y +6\) can be rewritten as \(2x - y = 6\)
Thus statement 1 alone is sufficient.

2. \(\frac{y}{2}=x-3\) can be rewritten as \(2x - y = 6\)
Thus statement 2 alone is sufficient.
