When a rectangular label, 21.5cm long, is wrapped around the curved surface of a solid circular cylinder with its shorter ends overlapping, it exactly cover the curved surface. what is the volume of cylinder in cubic centimeter, if the thickness of label is ignored?

(1) The label overlap is 0.5cm
(2) The width of the label is 7.5cm

given label overlap is 0.5
hence the length end to end will be 21.5-0.5 = 21 cm
however we still do not know the with which will be the height
hence A not sufficient
B gives only height
combine
Circumference = $$21 = 2*\pi* r$$
$$r = 21/2*\pi$$
and height = 7.5
thus $$volume = \pi * r^2*h$$
thus C
