a) $$x^{12}+x^{12} = x^{12}(1+1) = 2*x^{12}$$. Eliminate A.

b) $$(-x^{12})^{-2}$$ = $$\frac{-1}{x^{24}}$$. Eliminate B.

c) $$(x^6)^6 = x^{36}$$. Eliminate C.

d) $$x^2*x^3*x^4 = x^{2+3+4} = x^9$$. Eliminate D.

e) $$(x^{72})^{\frac{1}{3}}$$ = $$x^{\frac{72}{3}} = x^{24}$$. E is the answer.
