I decided to enroll for e-GMAT because I wanted a course that provided me complete flexibility and allowed me to pace myself as per my liking. Additionally, the instructors were Indian, so I though I would get a better perspective on how to approach GMAT exam as an Indian candidate.

I found it to be a good course in that it had summarized the important concepts tested on GMAT in one place. It could certainly be a great course for someone who was starting with a poor verbal score. However, in my case I began when I was scoring 38-41 in GMAT Prep verbal section. In fact, I scored 38 in one of e-GMAT's own workshops, without much preparation. I diligently went through the entire course and also attended e-GMAT's final workshops where they try to teach you how to maximize your score. I wish I had not attended that workshop, because in an effort to act 'cute' and follow the 'clever' strategies they suggested, I screwed up my verbal section and scored only 35.

I decided to retake my GMAT and requested e-GMAT to extend my subscription. They asked for a proof of registration, which I found a bit weird because not always does a person plan the exact date. I certainly didn't want to lose that flexibility. Anyway, I decided to look at other options, and i'm glad I found MGMAT's forum, which I used to review various GMAT Prep official questions I had downloaded from GMATClub. Using those reviews, I was able to identify my mistakes and improve my sentence correction accuracy. I scored 41 in the verbal section of my second GMAT attempt.

So if someone is thorough with the basic concepts, I won't recommend this course. But if someone is looking to learn various sentence correction concepts, then it's a fantastic course. e-GMAT is a great company, but unfortunately I didn't have a very favorable experience with their course and their subscription extension policy.

I started GMAT preparation six months ago and came across e-gmat course. I chose this course due to my weakness in CR & RC. The video Explanation of CR problems opened my eyes to look into the argument deeper. The key thing that I was not able to figure out as to how the argument flows and creates facts before you. The logical structure plays an important role in understanding the CR argument. Even, the same concept can be applied to RC passage.
The practice question in banks help me a lot. Though, I did many mistakes in start of preparation.

Regarding SC, the course is bible. I love it the way the e-gmat puts meaning based questions. Kudos to them for creating wonders for GMAT aspirants.

Its all a non-native will need for verbal

I did not have any idea about the GMAT verbal. In fact, the only thing i knew about GMAT was that verbal was tougher than quant, and since I was a non-native English speaker, I knew I would need to work really hard for verbal part. Then, I came across one of the free webinars from e-Gmat, and was really impressed by their teaching style (good part - they conduct frequent webinars and you can attend as many as you want before concluding upon joining the course). Since I needed a self-paced course, I went for the 'Verbal Online'.

I must say, that the e-GMAT team must have been really thoughtful while creating this stuff. A few days into the course, and it was evident that a substantial amount of research and home-work must have gone into creating the kind of material they provided. Everything (especially SC) felt like it was fine tuned for me. Below are a few things that stood out:

1)SC: This is the best of all. I would say these guys know in and out of GMAT SC. I believe, ‘The 3 step approach’ is one of the best ways to approach and master GMAT SC questions. It was clear, precise and to the point. One would not need anything else here! “To defeat the enemy, don’t hit the enemy… hit his strategy”, I think e-GMAT does exactly this when it comes to SC.
My rating: 10/10

2)CR: Now, you can’t make someone think but you can always fill up his arsenal with stuff he/she would need to think. I think e-GMAT does just that. The ‘Pre thinking’ technique taught by them is quite useful at most of the times if not always.
Though the in-depth analysis of all the question types is wonderful, I still felt that there was scope of a few more ‘discoveries’ in GMAT CR.
My rating: 8/10

3)RC: The ‘7 key reading strategies’ clearly raised my accuracy. But then I was a bad reader, and still am. Nonetheless, e-GMAT has helped me tremendously to tackle the RC section which was one of my worst nightmares. The way they handled every passage by breaking it into smaller and manageable pieces, analysed the structure and flow of the passage and made the reader involve in the passage was excellent.
My rating: 9/10

4)IR: Wouldn’t say much as I couldn’t go through it completely. But from all that I could see, a lot many ‘types’ were covered in detail.
My rating: NA

In general, everything was structured- step by step. This sometimes made verbal feel like quant, and that turned out to be quite beneficial. All in all, if you are a non-native and verbal is what you worry about, it’s better to have e-GMAT with you than to not have it.

I enrolled for EGmat Verbal Online after my first test. The course content is fabulous, with an interactive platform. The pre and post quizzes are good. Also some of the strategies recommended by EGMAT such as pre-thinking in CR & RC, and meaning analysis in SC are very helpful.

But don't buy this course thinking that Rajat or Payal would resolve your query directly. Although rajat, while conducting free webinars, repeatedly asks to mail him for any query actually his account is managed by some other fellow. Also, the time taken to reply to our queries is disappointedly long and the solution provided is also not to the mark.

All in all after enrolling for other prep course I found EGMAT course a bit over hyped and over marketed.

I am an engineer by profession and I have been thinking about retaking GMAT for quite sometime. I scored 660 in my first attempt about 3 years back. Being an engineer, Quant was an easy game for me. I scored 49 in Quant in my first attempt. However, Verbal was a nightmare.
I was stumped by difficult SC questions and I always get 2-3 RC questions incorrect per passage. That's when I started searching for an online course and came across e-gmat. There are few things which I really liked about e-gmat. First of all,its really affordable and comes at a decent price. Secondly, I am big fan of learning through videos. Hence, e-gmat was a perfect fit for my needs.
I subscribed to their Verbal online course and started with SC. I can tell with great confidence that gmat SC is like solving a math problem. It's all with the systematic approach and e-gmat's step by step approach improved my SC drastically. Coming to CR, pre-thinking was another concept that helped me tremendously and I was able to see good improvement to my CR hit rate in just 3 weeks. I am yet to start on RC and planning to start doing it this week. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants systematic & methodical approach. I am sure you will never regret by taking e-gmat Verbal Online.

I am a non native English speaker. I got to know about egmat from my friend. Firstly, I registered for free session and later bought the complete course. Their audio visual style of teaching attracted me the most. Unlike reading books, this way of learning is very affective for registering the concepts in our minds. In SC, the step by step approach and POE techniques helped me in choosing the correct answers in less time. The process of pre thinking and negation test for identifying assumptions are the best ways to crack CR questions. And finally, Scholaranium is the best platform for practicing various difficult level questions. This is the best verbal online course.

Earlier, I had never opted for any online courses earlier, but had definitely used the online resources available like the 60 days preparing schedule given by Beat The GMAT (BTG), e-books from GMAT Club (GC), scavenged regularly on forums of BTG and GC etc. Armed with all the knowledge gathered from these site's i attempted my first GMAT. Unfortunately i was way below my target score. My main drawback was Verbal, as i am a non-native speaker, the score in verbal hit me hard. But i was determined to achieve my desired score,so i started my preparation again. This time i tweaked my approach, opted for an online course. After reading a lot of reviews in various forums, i decided to invest in E-GMAT's online verbal course.

I must say i have not regretted my decision of investing in E-GMAT's online verbal course. My learning curve has grown exponentially. Currently i am in midst of my preparation for my second attempt at GMAT. Now, i can say confidently EGMAT has enlightened me and infused me with confidence, to approach the SC and Logical reasoning questions more methodically to achieve success in solving them.

Scholarium of the EGMAT helps you to accustom yourself with the actual GMAT exam, helping you improve your performance by providing constant feedback on each of your attempts. Folks at EGMAT are constantly improving the application as, i have seen new questions being added, new learning methodologies being implemented and more e-learning videos being added to simply the learning process.

I would defiantly recommend EGMAT verbal course online to all non-native speaker's seeking help to improve their score.

Kudos to EGMAT team!!!

I am using eGMAT from Jun 2015. Their verbal course is the best in the lot. The forum is very active and is a big plus. The verbal course is structured to start with the basics and develops the focus to ace the GMAT. If you are willing to unlearn and relearn the basics for verbal this course will be helpful. I feel that e-gmat is more detailed in teaching both SC and CR. It teaches you the application, not just the rules.

Thanks to e-gmat. I recommend Verbal online course to anyone who have problem in verbal, especially in SC and CR and who wants to give the test in very short duration.

Must have for SC section

I would like to recommend the e-Gmat course to as a must have for your SC section preparation.

I get an improvement from V25 to V35 with the e-gmat verbal online. My improvement is mainly due to the SC section. The SC course is a must have for a non-native. The course presents all the gramar rules you should know in a very intuitive way.

Only 15 days were enough to see a considerable improvement in my skills.

The RC and CR are also good but don't expect a good improvement if you already learn the methodology from other companies.

Try and you will enjoy it!

I signed up Verbal Online package after going through various reviews on gmatclub. It cost $199 when I bought it. I would recommend that any student who would like to improve on verbal, must go for this.

E-GMAT has this really effective method of teaching of breaking up the sentences and teaching the minute GMAT grammer rules. In such way, you need not remember all the rules except few. Before this course, I was unable to understand why the correct answer is correct and why the incorrect one in incorrect. This is a problem with almost all native speakers. E-gmat course helped me understand the basic idea of how to read and understand the meaning of the given question and then answer it effectively.

The one more good part of this course is scholarium, where you can test your skills. Its an access with huge number of question banks. It gives you graphical representation of your performance on both accuracy and ability.
It also give you performance info on various topics as well.

Overall I would say it a nice package. I am satisfied with the quality and they way they have tried to put this all together.
