Center * Pearson VUE GMAT Test Center
Location Bangalore, India
- Test Center Location: Pearson Professional Centers-Bangalore 2 KAR, Prestige Atrium, Unit 101, Ground Floor
Central Street, Shivajinagar, Bangalore
Karnataka 560001, India
- Nearest points: Cubbon Park Metro(~700 mts), Shivajinagar Bus stand(~400 mts), 10 Mins walk to the center.
- Parking Available (A bit high price, i guess around INR 30 per hour)
- Background Noise: little bit from outside esp. when heavy honking/traffic is there. You can use Noise Cancellation headphones which are available at each desk and quite effective.
- Restroom/Lockers/Drinking Water: Available within the center.
- Computers : Very good condition, Monitors screens are of large size, i struggled initially a bit due to it. Most of the time i had practiced on 11 inch screen.
- Staff: Polite and Helpful.
My score was not up to the mark, so i canceled my score. I would recommend this center to everyone with one thing in mind about small outside noise(I prefer very quiet environment and can be disturbed even with very little noise level) which may not be same for others. Good thing is that 3M Noise cancellation headphones are available at every desk and you can totally be in your own world while giving exam. I would recommend this and will retake at same center if my fate gives another chance.

I took the real GMAT on 21st Aug 2019 at Pearson VUE center in Bengaluru
Exact Address :
No 45, 3rd Floor, Trade Center, Dickenson Road Above Bhima Jewellers, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560042.
The registration process was smooth but the test experience after that was horrible. There was a person taking the GMAT sitting beside me who started the test at the same time but was coughing so loudly throughout the test and was continously murmuring the questions he was trying to solve.
I could somehow manage the Quant section but comprehending long sentences in Verbal was near to impossible due to his constant coughing and murmuring of questions. I even informed the invigilators sitting outside the test room during the 8 minute break about this issue. But there was no effect. I tried wearing the noise-cancelling headphones given but they were very uncomfortable.
I ultimately spoilt my GMAT and scored a disappointing 660 ( Q51 , V27 ).
My official GMAT mock scores were :
1) Mock 1 - 690 ( Q50 , V32 )
2) Mock 2 - 700 ( Q50 , V32 )
3) Mock 3 ( Took after spending 2 weeks on SC ) - 750 ( Q51 , V39 )
4) Mock 4 ( 4 days after Mock 3 ) - 740 ( Q50 , V39 )
5) Mock 5 ( 2 days after Mock 4 ) - 740 ( Q50 , V39 )
I raised a issue after the test and also raised an enquiry through mba.com portal but I have not got any reply from GMAC yet. This is very disappointing that GMAT test centres dont maintain a calm environment for test takers.

The test center is very attractive and highly protective. People have eyes over your actions every second. The facility is good and helpful. If anything you need, just raise your hand and the staff will be there to help you with everything. I went there twice as I gave 2 attempts, and the procedure they follow in the test center is easy and efficient. People may get nervous that what would happen at the center, will the machine work properly or not. But they have everything in perfect order. A test taker gets perfect silence over there, and can concentrate 100% over the test. No distractions of any kind is present. Clean facility with availability of washrooms and drinking water. And yes its cold inside.
HI,
Please help with the name of the test center, At present there are 2 centers in Bangalore. Shivajinagar and Dickenson road. Which one was yours?. It would be very helpful. Thanks.

The test center is fairly peaceful and has 4 testing stations. It is located on the first floor and the location is not so obvious. I walked up the stair till 4th floor and then only realized that it was on the 1st floor itself. It is not explicitly visible when you reach the first floor. The staff was good and the systems were working fine. Only glitch I felt was during the essay in the last 30 minutes when the systems kind of restarted, which they say is a standard process during slot change(so prepare to reach before the scheduled time so as to be able to start test much before the hard stop when the restart the systems in between and you may lose 1-2 minutes. Apart from this, there was no other issue I faced at this center. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my score and that is why you won't see any verified score for my profile. I will be retaking the test in a month's time.

The test centre at Banglore was quite good with proper lighting, air conditioning, muffled sounds and a good computer system. It was a good experience giving GMAT at this centre.
The centre is located at a place which is easily reachable from any corner of the city and has a good environment. I felt optimistic when I reached the centre. Also, the chairs and table are ergonomic which makes the test-giving experience an awesome one. You will get a feeling that you can solve any question within time.
I will highly recommend this test centre for anyone. Just time your test well in advance as the booking is quite difficult to get sometimes.

The test center was very easy to find inside the college. They provide earplugs and headphones. The check-in process was seamless and I found no difficulties.
The staff was polite. The restrooms and lockers were conveniently located. There was no A/C and the lighting was good. There were a few times where the power went off switching off the lights but no interruption to the exam. The light from the window was sufficient enough to get through that period.
The noise levels were very low allowing test takers to concentrate on the exam. There was the noise of planes flying in low altitude as this test center is very close to the airport but earplugs did a good job for me.
I would gladly retake the test here.

The test center is very very cramped. it literally looks like 1990's cyber cafe. my computer got hanged 2-3 times and i lost around 3 minutes every time.
The person in charge never responds if lift your hand. you have to run outside if you face any problem. the restroom was quite ok. the test centre is easy to locate. There was definitely a lot of traffic noise while writing the exam. When i was writing the exam, there were 4 people who were taking the exam along with me.One person was shaking the table and the whole bench was shaking . I pointed it out to the in charge , he was least bothered to even tell the person. If were to retake, i will retake in another location.

This review is for the test center on Dickenson Road (Off MG Road). The test center is easy to locate. Staff are generally helpful. There is just one restroom, which I feel could be maintained better. External noise level isnt an issue, noise cancelling headphones are provided on request. The testing area is neat and well maintained. Do note there is no elevator (kind of like big bang theory), hence be careful on the 3 flights of narrow stairs. There is a water dispenser and the waiting area is pleasant for taking breaks in between sections.Overall a good testing experience.

There are currently two test centers in Bangalore/Bengaluru. The one at Whitefield had terrible reviews, so I chose this one instead. My thoughts:
Ease of locating:
Took an Uber. You can search for it on the app, throws up as 'Pearson Professional Center'. If you see it on Dickenson road (near Manipal center), that's the place.
The center itself:
- Lighting maybe a bit dull but I didn't notice once the test started
- Cooling in the room is comfortable
- Not too much noise. Additionally, they provide earmuffs at every machine that can be used to drown out most sounds
- Only one restroom. So there was a queue to use it and a few of those taking the exam overshot their break due to this
- Staff: Excellent. Cordial, professional, efficient, polite yet not too friendly (which is a good thing).
Facilities: My locker did not have a working lock. I had to leave it unlocked but had no issues with this since the place has cameras all over
Tips/Do's and don't's:
- Every time you enter the test room your palm veins will be scanned and a test administrator will accompany you to log in to the system and continue the exam for you. So, account for losing a few seconds to this
- Try the writing equipment as soon as you are allowed to so you can get new pens if needed
- Remove ear studs/piercings before taking the exam if you intend to use the ear muffs
- Some may find the ear muffs a bit uncomfortable due to how quiet it gets once they are on!
- If using the restroom, try to do it as soon as you get out of the testing room else gets crowded
- 4 wheeler may be a problem so plan accordingly
- Do not expect to be allowed into the center before time. My slot was at 9 AM, we were not allowed into the center till about 8.25 AM
- You will need to leave all your personal belongings, including your watch in the locker

This is good test center. The rest rooms are near by but the Test Center staff were not really that helpful. They provide you all the information and are really prompt to provide you support. The test center I went is at Kormangala, is easy to access and is really clean. The systems there were old but working. But it does not have a good parking space. I have given the test here 1 time and I had not had any trouble in the Test center. There was some noise but the room temperature was perfect.I would definitely recommend this test center.
Were you given a whiteboard or what?
