Hello,
I have been taking the GMAT Club test since last couple of month. Though I'm on the verge of completion of the test series, I believe that it's been a good learning experience. I have gained the confidence in approaching the problems, especially verbal. Quants tests are par excellence. The collection of question in quants and their simple explanations are very useful. The background of test page, features make you feel like real GMAT exam. I expect to complete remaining test within couple of week. However, GMAT club should think to increase the number of verbal tests. Though I am to complete the test series, I have a long way to go. Hopefully , I would be able to achieve my target score. I recommend GMAT CLUB TESTS for any serius aspirant.
Thanks
Ravi
I got subscription of GMAT Club Tests along with my egmat membership twice but could not attempt GmatClub tests much due to lack of time . This time I have started attempting them after buying a short subscription and plan to extend it 1 month more till my GMAT date . After attempting a few tests I have found them to be top notch I have started my Quant prep from mock score of 32-35 and have increased till 46 and hope to take it further till 49-50 , My overall GMAT score has improved from 540 to 640. GMAT today is hard work and you have to devote hours to improve first by building on your concepts and consolidating your concepts by practicing with GMATClub tests and requires patience. I hope to take it to 700 this time , Best of Luck
i have tried GmatClub test and scoring is very similar to actual GMAT .Although sometimes you find questions are quite difficult but this will prepare you for actual GMAT because you know some questions will be difficult in actual GMAT.Questions are very selective and every question has a new concept and has a full explanation for better understandings of concepts. Analysis of these questions with all reporting is very helpful .I would say this is the best tool I ever had for analysis of your mistakes , with Type,Time and Difficulty level provided this helps you to focus on your weak areas. This is really fantastic and must for GMAT takers.
I am a re-taker of the GMAT exam. I have been attempting GMAT club questions and tests. The Maths test had a mix of tough and easy questions and also a lot of tricky questions which ensures the perfect balance unlike a few of the other test series which i took which either had very difficult questions or very easy questions. Although i feel they are slightly tougher when compared to the actual GMAT but its better to practice here to understand concepts and boost confidence levels. The collection of questions and explanation presented is really good. If a few more stats like the weak and the strong areas can be shown, it will really help individuals as they can concentrate on their weak points and work on them.
Hello GC
My Take on Gmat Club tests for Quant is stated below:
PRO`s:
1. GMAT like interface - The feel is same as what we see in GMAT Prep
2. Question Quality and Boundary - The questions are a bit tougher but worth it to learn. Falls within the scope of the gmat syllabus
CONS:
1. Algorithm - 3/4 of the questions were of 700 level for me - doubt whether this happens in actual GMAT.
GMAT PREP VS GMAT CLUB TESTS :
1. GMAT PREP scores for me - Q48 - Q50
2. GMAT CLUB scores for me - Q46-Q48
Finally I would like to say one thing. If a person scoring in Q40+ attends all GC test for quant, I am 95% confident that his score wont`t drop below Q48 in actuals.
Good luck and keep going Gmat Club.
Thanks
Balaji
I thought these tests were great! There are so many problems (I think the quant question pool is around 1000?) of varying difficulties. I especially appreciated the quant questions because they were challenging and had a very wide breadth. The CATs were also pretty adaptive, which is great. They scores are also very accurate, as they were very close to my actual GMAT score. I also thought that the verbal questions were good. From studying the GMAT Club Verbal test questions, I learned about the various ways to approach a verbal question on the GMAT. I wish there were as many verbal questions as quant questions, though.
These tests are little-bit high in difficulty level than the actual GMAT. I recommend all those who are looking for hard difficulty level practice questions, must use the practice questions and tests of GMAT club. Each question has its own way of thing and different in technique, which is the best available source of practice. So all those aspirants like me, must come over this plentiful resource of mocks and practice test question for both Quantitative reasoning as well as Verbal reasoning type of questions. But never come before working on the basics, because these questions are of high difficulty level that beginners would not find way to solve any question.

What’s good
1. Great interface: GC test has outstanding Interfaced of Test this is almost similar to that of GmatPrep CAT. Few more awesome features
• While reviewing your incorrect question, it can let you attempt the question again rather than displaying the answer
• It can let you make a note against each question.
• Review stats, mark a guess
2. Quality of question: Questions are amazing. While some of questions exactly mimic the Official questions, most of the questions are fresh and one can be assured that each question tests you mostly relevant concepts.
It provides training which analogous to high altitude training to an athlete
Explanations are crisps and short
What could be better:
I am not sure how the algorithm works. Final raw score are not sometime consistent.
Scope pf improvement for verbal questions
In summary, if one is shooting towards Q51, these tests are must. You can’t afford to miss them.
I have had the opportunity to use these tests and it has been mind blowing. It is simply wonderful to have access to such good quality questions on such an open and supportive forum where there are numerous people to help you and simply looking at the number of users of this website one can easily gauge about how awesome this website is. The quality is surely maintained and the variety and extensiveness of the questions surely do help a lot on in the preparation for the GMAT exams which could surely prove to be nerve wracking but this bundle of tests does help to reduce the trepidation one feels.
I find the DS questions in Quant section very challenging which helps me to prepare for tough questions in the real exam. I find the PS in Quant a bit easy maybe because I am an Engineer. :)
Also the Verbal section is pretty well constructed with different questions from each of the section. Specially the SC part where there is a whole plethora of topics.
The review & explanation part is also too good; you usually get a good idea where you went wrong & how the question should be approached. & you can easily check your performance , weak areas in "my performance" section.
