Columbia Business School's new program, EMBA Saturday, allows highly qualified executives an opportunity to pursue "a full MBA experience through intensive Saturday-only coursework," reports a Columbia press release.

"Now these top achievers can pursue an MBA without forfeiting a hard-earned spot in a top firm and without having to secure corporate sponsorship," said Ethan Hanabury, Columbia's senior associate dean for degree programs.

The EMBA Saturday students will meet every Saturday from 8:30am to 6:45pm at Columbia for a total of 24 months. The first cohort will begin classes in May 2011.

Visit Columbia Business School's website for more details on the EMBA Saturday program, including admissions information.
