I am scheduled to take the GMAT Wednesday. I have been studying for a couple of months and took 2 practice tests last week....one was a Manhattan test and the other was the one you download from GMAC. I scored a 640 and a 630. My goal is a 600. After I scored a 630 Thursday night, I took another quant section on Friday night and scored ok....then got up Saturday morning and took another full test and scored a FREAKING 490! I could not even finish the verbal section and had to guess the last 10 questions. I have been finishing the verbal with 6+ minutes to spare (and scoring a 39) but I was having to reread everything 2 or 3 times...I was exhausted! I just put everything down for the rest of Saturday and yesterday and tried to relax and rest. Should I go ahead and take it Wednesday? I feel like Saturday was the result of over doing it and taking 2 1/2 tests in 3 days. My confidence is a little shaken but I know that when I am fresh it is totally different. I felt like crap Saturday. Should I postpone? I really don't want to....what do you guys think?
It sounds like a fluke to me, 2.5 tests in 3 days is a lot of CAT time. Personally I would sit for the exam. Wait around for responses from more veteran posters though.
