So I started prep for gmat 1.5 months back and here is my progress:
Diagnostic (no study) - GMAT Prep 640 q46 v33
GMAT Prep 2 (2 weeks of intense study) - 700 q49 v36
MGMAT CAT 1 (after another 2 weeks of intense study) - 660 q44 v36
MGMAT CAT 2 (studied for another 2 weeks, not as intense) - 610 q38 v35
As you can see my verbal has improved and is consistent whereas my quant is oscillating like no other. I’m an engineer and I do find the quant easier than the verbal but I am not sure what’s going on.
My target score is 700 and I’m clearly going the opposite direction. I am scheduled for the actual test in 20 days, should I postpone? Any idea as to why I could be doing this badly in quant all of a sudden?

Hello Dear
Although Manhattan GMAT CATs is the 2nd best source after Official CATs but one cannot depends on their results, and also Manhattan CATs are found to be tough than Official CATs so it is better to take an other GMAT Prep CAT and if you have no more GMAT Prep CAT then you can probably reset the free one and take them again. Take the official CATs and see the result whether it is fluctuating or not and then decide.

Hi smlprkh,
A few weeks ago, we discussed how important 'review' of your performances is to the overall GMAT training process. Have you had a chance to review your most recent CAT (especially since the Quant Score on that Exam is so much lower that the other 3 Scores)?
After reviewing each section of this recent CAT, how many questions did you get wrong....
1) Because of a silly/little mistake?
2) Because there was some math/verbal that you just could not remember how to do?
3) Because the question was too hard?
4) Because you were low on time and had to guess?
5) How many Verbal questions did you 'narrow down to 2 choices' but still get wrong?
