Let total no of cars be 30

$$\frac{1}{5}$$ of all the cars on a certain auto lot are red =(1/5)*30=6

$$\frac{2}{3}$$ of all the red cars are convertibles = (2/3)*6 = 4

fraction of all the cars are red convertibles = 4/30 = 2/15

fraction of all the cars are NOT red convertibles = 1-(2/15) = 13/15

Let total no.of cars be 1
The no. of red cars: 1/5
The no. of red convertible cars= (1/5)*(2/3)=2/15
Therefore, cars which are NOT red convertibles= 1-2/15= 13/15
