Hello guys,
On scanning the forum and the schools I'd want to apply to in the US, I found that most of them have their Round 1 deadlines by October 1st ( approx. )
I have scheduled my GMAT exam for the last week of August as I need close to 3 months to prepare well for the exam.
( I have tried to prepare for the exam devoting an entire month ( May 2015 ) and I'm stuck at a 580
MGMAT CAT score. I need the next 2 months to prepare myself to get a 750ish )
Now my doubt is that is there a distinction between applying to schools in Round 1 or Round 2 ? Is Round 1 supposed to be more favourable to candidates as compared to Round 2? Say, I do not get my desired score in August and I plan to retake the gmat ( which would mean, missing Round 1 ), will I be at a loss ? Will I miss out on my dream schools ?
Please Help!
Regards,
Prashant ( India )
