I am appearing for my GMAT on the 12th of June 2016. I have appeared for 4 CAT's and scored 710 in my first and 680 consistently in the next 3.
My score ranges section-wise are as below:
Q - 47 - 51
V - 33 - 37
IR - 6 - 7
I have been focusing on improving my Verbal ability, especially SC. I was doing well in my RC and CR getting an average accuracy of 80% in the questions but with abysmal performance in SC with 50% accuracy. Last couple of weeks I worked hard on my SC and was able to score 9/13 correct in the test, but sadly my accuracy in CR and RC tanked.
I am highly frustrated of being stuck in the 680 zone and would like to cross the 700 barrier.
Need advise on strategy for the next 4 weeks. How do I improve my Verbal score and if there is need to focus more on the Quant / IR side during the next weeks?
Also I am facing time management issues in IR and Verbal.

Hi seueth,
At your score level, the GMAT becomes really 'sensitive' to little mistakes - if you make too many, than a 700+ score is simply impossible to achieve. I'd like to know a bit more about your studies so far and how you took your CATs:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your practice CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
When you took your CATs:
1) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT (including the Essay and IR sections)?
2) Did you take them at home?
3) Did you take them at the same time of day as your Official GMAT?
4) Did you ever do ANYTHING during your CATs that you couldn't do on Test Day (pause the CAT, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
5) Did you ever take a CAT more than once?

- It has been 3 months since i started prepping.
2) What materials have you used?
- I have been using the OG, and Manhattan Strategy Guides for SC and CR
3) How have you scored on each of your practice CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
- 710 in my first and 680 in the subsequent three.
When you took your CATs:
1) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT (including the Essay and IR sections)?
- Yes I do the AWA and IR also.
2) Did you take them at home?
- Yes at Home.
3) Did you take them at the same time of day as your Official GMAT?
- Yes.
4) Did you ever do ANYTHING during your CATs that you couldn't do on Test Day (pause the CAT, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
- No, rather was distracted by a call or Mom popping in the room.
5) Did you ever take a CAT more than once?
- No, did not repeat a CAT, though I go through the answers after the exam, and redo the wrong answers without checking the solutions.
