Hi!
Been progressing in my studies that began in about May, spending the first few months strictly trying to cover Quant basics as I have absolutely NO quant background.
My study resource for quant has been
Magoosh. I have completed the OG, and the Question Pack 1. I have an
error log for both that I am constantly reviewing. I used
MGMAT SC and Powerscore CR which has helped my verbal skills. I am a native english speaker so that helps. I'm looking to get into Canadian schools.
I took a GMATPrep test yesterday under exam conditions. Away from home, essay, IR, simulated breaks, no stoppages.
Current score:
q39
v35
610
17 incorrect quant. 11 incorrect verbal.
I'm looking to improve to around q45 and possibly v40 by the end of October. It will be my first time writing the test.
I have attached a PDF of all the Quant questions I got wrong or took too long on. These are questions from the official practice test. Wanted to see if anybody can spot any patters or can give me some advice as to how to move from around a q40 to a q45. Where I should be focusing my studies and whether or not focusing on my error logs and doing the questions / understanding those concepts is what I should be doing until the test.
Thanks!
