Why not C, because there is a possibility that ppl read both or none?

Ans: B
Given: total 100 residents. and each one of read atleast one newspaper out of Times or Post. Need to find out how many read the Post.
So we Know: 100 (Total)- 0 (None) = only times+ only post + Both; we need to find out (Only post+ Both) as these are the ones who read post.

State: 1: just repeat what the question actually stated earlier. Trick (not suff)
State: 2 gives us Only times value as 46 ; so 100-0=46 + Post (suffi)

Ans: B

100-46 = 54, which include only post reader and both post and times readers. As question ask about post readers, not about only post readers.
so option B is sufficient.

Because in that case people who read both will be subset of 54 in total

People who read post=100-46=54(as there are zero who read none)
Out of these 54 ,some will read both but the total number of people who read Post will remain same.

Give kudos if it helps
