I met with an adcom in NYC. The whole interview was extremely conversational with the same questions that have been asked over and over (Why us?/why now?/etc). The only one that caught me by surprise was "What motivates you?"

Interview lasted about an hour. I actually did my undergrad there, so we had a lot to talk about. All in all, a good experience.

I did a phone interview with a second year. Was a good interview but did receive some tough questions. Besides the the typical "greatest professional and personal achievement" and "leadership" questions, I was asked about my views on the economy and which companies I thought did a good job in the field I want to enter. Not necessarily difficult but did catch me off guard.

I had my phone interview couple of days back. Regular questions were asked but had more emphasis on team activities - "What advice you would give to your team mates" etc.

My interview lasted only 20 mins. Does it imply that i didn't do well? I am a little scared after getting 2 dings (Manchester, UK after Interview and McCombs, Texas without interview).

Can someone moderate this thread and make the structure similar to what it is for other schools?

Hey, I've been following this site for a while but not really posting. I was accepted to Kelley yesterday. I was also accepted at Krannert and Moore (South Carolina), but waitlisted at Owen :? I'm 95% sure I'll be headed to Kelley this fall. Anyone else headed to Bloomington?

I got into Kelley yesterday and will probably go there. I also applied to Illinois (Accepted), Olin (Accepted) and Notre Dame (Waitlisted). Looking forward to the fall in Bloomington!

Accepted into Kelley as well.

I actually went there for undergrad and absolutely love Bloomington. I'm still undecided about where I will end up, but I'm happy to answer any questions you guys have about Bloomington.

Also, did your email say anything about scholarship money?

Nothing was mentioned in the email other than if scholarship money was awarded it would be enclosed in the admissions packet information.

I'm headed to Bloomington for sure. Here's a question for anyone who reads this. Kelley is a good school, not ultra-elite or anything, but solid nonetheless. But it seems there is very little interest from the members on this board (I could be wrong). Why is that? I guess if you're looking for IB then Kelley is not your best bet, but Indiana has other good programs and many companies come to campus. Does anyone know why Indiana doesn't get as much love as some other schools on here? :) I'm not mad or anything, just curious. Is it location or what? I've met a lot of students, professors, and talked to alum. They have all been great. Kelley's facilities are also top notch. I'm not looking to start a debate, but I thought someone might have some insight on the topic.

I am also most likely going to Kelley and I hear what you're saying. I think it's mainly because the school is a relative newcomer to being considered a strong b-school as opposed to the other traditional ones. I also think it's prob the location as there aren't many top schools located in "college towns". B-School students are older, many are married and their spouses have to work and/or people are looking to live in that area after graduation...Bloomington can be a tough sell for that crowd.

Kelley is my top choice. The school is simply awesome.

Submitted app late December, interview invite a week later, interviewed on campus late January.

Congrats to those already accepted.

Looking at the website, it says 2nd RD applicants should hear back in late March. I know IU's 1st RD didn't hear back until the last Friday in January so they seem to be sticking pretty tight to the scheduled dates of notification.
