Hi there, sounds like a difficult travel schedule! I can certainly understand why it's difficult to focus on the GMAT. I do think it would be worth it though to increase your score, especially since your GPA is on the lower end too. Which type of program are you applying to? 11 years experience is going to be above average for nearly all full-time programs. Is an Executive MBA an option? I'm not sure if that's workable with your schedule, but I think you'll find that an EMBA would be a better fit because you'd have a stronger shared perspective with your classmates. Also EMBA programs tend to put less weight on GPA / GMAT, and more weight on your professional experience, career goals, and recommendations. And I think your professional experience, especially the international exposure you've had, sounds quite strong. In the US, you're likely to find the best MBAs for Oil & Gas in Texas, so perhaps check out Texas A&M, SMU Cox, or UT Dallas. I believe you'll find some programs in Europe too that have strong job placement rates in Oil & Gas. Hope this helps and good luck!
