Gave my first attempt for GMAT on 1st April 2017 at Pune, India. Was'nt prepared much as was preoccupied with many things 3 months prior to the exam.
Scored Q35 and V26.
Was kicked out of job in november due to a small conflict with boss. Rather being depressed about it thought of making the time useful. Was already thinking about MBA. This was the right time to take a step forward. So started preparation on my own.
Had scored around 550 in first Gmat prep Mock.
On the test day messed up with timing on Quants and Verbal section. In the last 10 minuted had approximately 14 question left to answer, hence screwed up.
Got a job at Citibank now. Working as well as preparing for Gmat with it alongside. Preparations are on in a new way with a Experts help!. Timeline set for next 3 months.
Hopefully next time, i post my debrief here, i will have scored a 720+ score

Raising a 510 to a 720+ will take a serious amount of work - you'll have to make significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections (and all of that work will take time - probably at least another 3 months of consistent, guided study). That having been said, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. Since you're back to work full-time, you'll need to be efficient about organizing your studies, so you might find it beneficial to invest in a GMAT Course of some type (either Guided Self-Study or instructor-led).
1) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Yes i am aware that raising the score from 510 to 720 is going to take serious amount of work!
1) Studying around 10-13 hours a week. (1 hour on weekdays and 2+ hours on weekends)
2) Planning to apply to Bschools for intake of 2019.
