Hello there, today I’ve taken my first official in Brussels and I got 620/800 with 38/51 on quant and 37/51 on verbal.
I’ve been preparing the GMAT since February. In my previous test one month and half ago I used to score 42/51 on quant and 27/51 on verbal. Lately I started focusing on verbal SC and a little bit CR and I managed to obtain 37/51. On the other hand since I haven’t practiced math I decreased my best score of four points from 42 to 38.
On quant I run out of time and I had to guess the latest 7/8 questions plus didn’t even answer the latest question.
On the other hand I was satisfied with my improvement in verbal as I’ve only studied it in the last three weeks. Read twice Manhattan SC and once Manhattan CR so still haven’t studied RC.
I feel I can improve a lot on verbal and go beyond 40.
On the other hand I feel that I need to practice math every day otherwise I lose the touch as it shows the fact in one month went from 42 to 38.
I have serious time management r issues and sometimes it takes me while to apply the clear strategy to solve the problem.
I haven been preparing a lot on quant since mid January with Manhattan and I’m a bit disappointed since after three month of hard work I could I could only get 38/51.
My target score is above 700 as the business school where I want to apply has 710/800 as GMAT average score.
I plan to take again the exam on the end of mine and would like to reach a 45-46/51 on quant and above 40 on verbale so I can reach 700-710-720.
I would love to heard ur feedback and feel free to ask my any further questions to better assess my situation.
Thanks a lot
Ciao
