Hi guys,
I first tried gmat late last February in Edinburgh and got 680. I was ambivalent to the score. I was happy because I didnt do so badly given that I was quite tense throughout the exam but felt that I could do better. So I am planning to give the exam again next april. Through this post I will keep you updated about my preparation.
Just something brief about me:
I am 24 and will be applying for a phd in accounting/finance (topic still to be determined) by the January 2010 deadlines. My target universities are basically the top universities in the US and UK. Given this my target gmat score is around 750. I have a full time job and a couple of other demanding commitments so most studying will be taking place in weekends.
My preparation will consist in the following steps:
1) take an online diagnostic test
2) go through OG11
3) Take 2 GMATPrep tests
4) go through questions in forum and mock AWA
5) Take 2 GMATPrep tests
6) Do the actual test
I will be updating this post every weekend.. so till next weekend cyaa
