$$\frac{2}{3} - \frac{3}{4} + \frac{5}{6}-\frac{1}{2}$$
$$= \frac{4}{6} + \frac{5}{6}-\frac{3}{4}-\frac{2}{4}$$
$$= \frac{9}{6} -\frac{5}{4}$$
$$= \frac{3}{2} -\frac{5}{4}$$
$$= \frac{1}{4}$$
= 0.25

2/3 − 3/4 + 5/6 − 1/2 = ?

Solution:

Take LCM = 12

$$\frac{40 - 45 + 50 - 30}{60}$$

= $$\frac{15}{60}$$

= $$\frac{1}{4}$$

= $$0.25$$, Answer must be (D)

Converting each fraction to a common denominator of 12, we have:

8/12 - 9/12 + 10/12 - 6/12 = 3/12 = 1/4 = 0.25
