\(\frac{2}{3} - \frac{3}{4} + \frac{5}{6}-\frac{1}{2}\)
\(= \frac{4}{6} + \frac{5}{6}-\frac{3}{4}-\frac{2}{4}\)
\(= \frac{9}{6} -\frac{5}{4}\)
\(= \frac{3}{2} -\frac{5}{4}\)
\(= \frac{1}{4}\)
= 0.25

Converting each fraction to a common denominator of 12, we have:

8/12 - 9/12 + 10/12 - 6/12 = 3/12 = 1/4 = 0.25
