A^2 - B^2 = (A+B) (A-B)

(2^3 - 1)(2^3 + 1) = (2^6 - 1)
(2^6 - 1)(2^6 + 1) = (2^12 - 1)
(2^12 - 1)(2^12 + 1) = (2^24 - 1)
