Hi Dagobeth

What's your target score and latest mock score? Please share the score breakup of both for better understanding.

Ideally there are only 2 options:

1. You can barely change anything in last 2 days. Keep calm, do your part and give the exam with confidence. In that case, you may find this video helpful for last minute tips:

2. If you feel very underprepared, consider pushing the exam date and give yourself some more time to be test ready if that's possible for you and do justice to your full potential. If you need help with study strategy, feel free to reach out to me. I'll be happy to guide you.

All the very best!

Hi Dagobeth,

You ask a rather broad question - but unfortunately, if you have just 2 days before your Official GMAT, that is not likely to be enough time for you to learn, practice and master new concepts for big-point categories such as DS and RC. If you think that you might not hit your Score Goal on your upcoming GMAT, then you should still make note of all of the various aspects of Test Day - so that you can use that knowledge to your advantage as you continue to study.

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Dagobeth,

At this point, since you are about 24 hours from your exam, the best thing you can do is take it easy and rest up for exam day.

For RC, becoming familiar with how INFERENCE questions work on the GMAT can be helpful.

Thank you all for your feedback.

I finally scored 350.

I studied with Magoosh, been studying in and out for a couple of weeks but had full study for 11 days.

Practice with GMAT officially guide for 2019.

My target schools are HBS, GSB, MIT, Booth and Haas.

I would have to take the test again.

What can I do to make it better? My target score is 760.

Much appreciated

Hi Dagobeth,

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as hoped. Many GMATers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores, so from what you describe, it sounds as though you just have not put in enough time and effort to score higher yet. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level.

Since you are interested in some highly-competitive Schools, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to act on that advice, the better). There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) Over the last 2 weeks, how many hours do you typically study each week?
2) Did you take any practice CATs/mocks before taking your Official GMAT? On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

Hi Rich,

Thank you for your feedback.

Please see my response below

1. I studied for minimum 10 hours per day in the last 2 weeks.

2. Yes I took 2 practice mocks from Magoosh, 1 of the free GMAT mock and the free 90 questions on GMAT q bank. I also solved questions in the 2019 GMAT OG. My scores were around 400

3. Round 2. My first deadline is 3rd of Jan 2023.

Thanks

Hi Dagobeth.

To get to 760, you'll likely have to prepare for several months or more by working on one GMAT topic at a time.

For some insights into how to prepare for GMAT quant and verbal effectively, see these posts.

Also, you could get some ideas from this debrief of someone who increased her GMAT score from 250 to 780.
