34 Math, 24 Verbal. These were my scores today. I scored lower than my practice tests. I was consistently scoring a min of 520.

If there is anything that can be learnt from this experience , it is this - Check how you are doing 7 days prior to the exam, if you are not at the score you should be.. POstpone it.

I walked out feeling dumb, and dejected than ever before.
My goal was to come back and write saying I got my goal score , but I didnt.

You need to practice more. this is about practice, more practice, and again practice.

if you dig little bit more on th GMAT experiances, you will find lots of people with below 490 finally ended with 700+. Myself also had once such a horrible score. Now I have a confidende for 700+.

Stay arround for more practice.

Best of luck.

I agree. This is one test whose material you must truly own in order to do well. The more you practice and study, the more you pay attention to the tiny nuances of the exam, the more you will be equipped to handle every aspect of the test and do well on test day.

Just don't get too depressed. You can still make this happen.

Hey Sumithera, don't get too down. Plenty of people have come back and scored great the second time around.

Do you have any advise for test day? I have my first test on Monday. Were the GMATPrep questions pretty similar to what you saw on the test? What was your biggest obstacle? Did the timing become an issue?

I have not given up hope yet. I am going to give this another shot. So Thank you for your encouraging words.

Sarl5- As far as tips are concerned, Your test is on the 9th if I remember correctly, I would drive by the location to make sure you know where it is. basic stuff like leave early dont be late.. BE sure to not over use break time..I didnt , but I saw few people that did. Dont use too many pages ...

Timing - Dont get TOO concerned about it. I was way too concerned and landed up guessing on math questions that I could have solved properly. You will realise that questions are very similar to what you have practiced, just relax your nerves and you will do fine. In my case, I did not practice well. But I think you have, so just be confident !!

Best of luck !!!! and Keep me posted!!! I am sure you will do great.
