Let the efficiency of 1 man’s work in one day be M, and that of a child be C.
Since 2 men and 7 boys can do a piece of work in 14 days,
Total work = 14(2M + 7B)
Similarly, Total work = 11(3M + 8B)
Since the total work will be the same,
14(2M + 7B) = 11(3M + 8B)
5M = 10B
M = 2B
So, the total work = 14(4B + 7B) = 154B
Work done by 8 men and 6 boys in one day = 16B + 6B = 22B
Thus, the total time taken by 8 men and 6 boys to complete three times the work = 154B*3/22B = 21
Thus, the correct answer is B.
