I have about 8 years of experience in the information technology industry, i have exposure to software development and also to project management work.
Post MBA, I want to get into IT Consultancy. I heard that McKinsey has such a practice ?!? Do you know of any other top consultancies which have such a practice ?
Also which top schools would you recommend for me to give a shot at ?

I am nearing the timeline for R1 of my target B-Schools, it would be really helpful if you can share some insight about the target schools, from your own experiences and information sources,
Post MBA I want to join a consultancy, into the Technology area, like devising IT strategy for a customer organization.
I think Sloan and Ivey should be good bet for this, any other recommendations would be really helpful in increasing my chances of being admitted to one of the top schools.
