Okay, now I get you!
Well, I do not have a certain answer for how many years are ideal for a person getting a second MBA because it heavily depends on the quality of your work experience.
Now the major difference between people pursuing the first MBA vs the second MBA is the reason for your second MBA. You already have a degree and you again want to pursue it. Why? What is it that you're trying to fill in through a second MBA?
So, like a normal candidate, you should have a good GMAT (700+ is always good) and two-four years of experience should be ideal before pursuing your second MBA. Rest depends on the quality of your profile. Just make sure that whenever you (or your acquaintance) start your application, you must be clear-headed about pursuing a second MBA with convincing reasons.
Hope I could address your concern! Feel free to
hop on a call with us if you have any more concerns. Would be glad to assist you

Cheers!

Hi
Hatakekakashi,
This is a detailed story of a candidate with a second MBA getting into LBS with a 100% scholarship. She did not apply to INSEAD.
However, we have candidates getting into INSEAD despite a second MBA but due to privacy, it's not possible to share everyone's detailed story. If you want someone for INSEAD, we can get you in touch with them.
I understand that it's not possible to share everyone's detailed story but I was looking for data on what a candidate who decides to get a second MBA from Insead looks like. (for ex - gmat score/years of work ex etc.) Someone I know is looking for something to see when and how to get a second MBA because the first one was not so rewarding
And based on your experience, how many years should a person wait before getting a second MBA example - 2021 May graduate from 1st MBA, so would 2 years be ideal before applying or does it vary from person to person
