Maybe this has been asked elsewhere and I didn't see it, but does anyone know if GMAC has plans to allow people to do a second Online GMAT? Most of the people I am tutoring are in locations (NY, San Fran, Chicago) where they cannot get test dates until the end of July at the earliest. Some of them had May test dates that got cancelled and now they have to wait for 2+ months to be able to take it. They can (and will) take the online version, but if they do that soon then they still have no ability to retake until late July.
So I was wondering if anyone has any info on whether GMAC has plans to deal with the lack of available test dates by offering people the opportunity to take the Online GMAT more than once? Or does anyone know if this lack of available test dates is partly due to test centers not allowing people to book test dates in June for fear of having to engage in another round of mass cancellations? I am hoping that as things begin to reopen, test centers will open up test dates in June and early July that were held back initially.
Any info on the above would be appreciated!

At this time, one can only take the GMAT online once.
However, Based on the interview that Souvik has done with GMAC, they kind of left a possibility for a retake (I think - the answers were not black and white). But it seemed that if the online GMAT is extended past June 15, there is a possibility that there may be retake options.

Currently, each GMATer can take the At-home GMAT just ONCE - but that attempt does NOT count against the 8-test lifetime limit. Obviously, all of this might change over time (depending on when most of the Testing Facilities reopen), but under these current restrictions, each person should think carefully about when he/she wants to take the Exam (and avoid 'rushing in' to take the At-home Exam too early - lest they end up getting 'locked out' from taking the Exam).
