Thanks for the replies. Yeah I was looking to see if anyone had any inside information on what GMAC plans to do about the fact that there seem to be so few in-person test dates available in the coming months. I actually don't even know of anyone who has an in-person test date for June (I am tutoring people who had or still have dates in May, some of which were cancelled and some of which have yet to be cancelled). But available test dates in NY, San Fran, Mass, etc. are at the end of July so it seems to me that GMAC needs to do something or risk more defection over to the GRE. Maybe there are test dates that they can "release" in June and July? If not I really hope they make the Online GMAT available for more than 1 try. Otherwise I may suggest to some of my students that they switch to the GRE rather than have 1 try at the Online GMAT and then wait until nearly August to take the test again. bb, it's good to know that they are considering adding a second attempt. I hope they either do that or open up some in-person test dates, assuming that is even possible!

Just an update on this and I would really love some feedback if anyone has any.....

So there is definitely something strange going on. Many of the people I am working with have been able to get July 24th. Exactly July 24th and not earlier. And then some of them have found that there doesn't even seem to be anything available for all of August. So it feels like there is something fishy going on with all of this. I don't know why earlier dates are not possible (in different parts of the country, no less) and then all of a sudden July 24th is free for everyone?

I am making a pretty wild guess here, but I just wonder if test centers are holding back dates in some fashion (maybe releasing very limited spots or no spots at all for June and early July)?

Anyway, I am hopeful that GMAC will somehow make more in-person test dates available. Or at least make a second shot at the Online GMAT a possibility.

Any insight that anyone has would be appreciated!!!
