From statement 1 AND 2 Alone we get nothing....
but Combining these two statements we get that 3<x<7
For all the values in this Limit the condition is satisfied...
Eg
3,5,7,10,x
IF X = 6
mean = 6.2 and median is 6..
----> mean > median

Hence Using Both statements we get a definite answer..

If x= 5, then the mean = 6, not 5, while median = 5.
