hello,
I have booked my GMAT for Aug 18th, 2022.
Before starting my prep, I had taken a mock test on magoosh and had scored 480 in that.
Now, I have completed all quant, CR and RC videos from magoosh.
I am familiar with the test and its concepts now, except for SC which I'll be completing in a day.
I am not working so I have all my time dedicated to GMAT prep. I took OG diagnostic test online and scored 48%(did some calculation mistakes) in quant and 51% in verbal.

What way should I plan my study so I can get more than 680? And is it possible if I can dedicate 10+ hours per day for the next 30days?

10 hrs a day for 30 days is too much time. GMAT requires 300 hrs of total preparation to get to 760 level.
So, if you use your time wisely, you can definitely score above 700.

First find out what level of questions are you comfortable in each topic. Go to GMAT-> Practice question Bank and choose difficulty levels and see out of 10 questions how much you were able to do. If you are able to do more than 80%, then that level is your current level. Start from 700 level in each topic and then go downwards.

Studying for more than 4 hrs at a time is not possible. So I would suggest you divide your time in 4 slots of 3hrs 3hrs 2hrs and 2hrs respectively.

rom 9:30am to 1pm --- study new information -- because your mind will be fresh -- Do SC/RC in this time cause you need to learn and remember a lot of rules and practice lots of SC. Practice 20 questions on each topic.
From 1 to 3 - eat and relax and enjoy.
From 3pm to 5pm -- do CR. Practice 20 questions on each topic
From 5 to 7 pm -- relax and have snacks
from 7 to 9 pm - do DS/PS - practice 20 question on each topic
From 9 to 10 pm - eat and relax
from 10 to 12 pm - revise all you have studied in day. Review all questions you were not able to do in limited time and those you got wrong.
Sleep from 12 to 7:30 am

thanks, Ill definitely try it out tomorrow

Your score improvement on the GMAT depends on the speed you can absorb material. It does not matter how much time you have or can invest.

It is hard to to tell your progress from the two scores that you have posted. I cannot compare 480 and the persontiles. But you have all the data and you can. You can look back and see how much your score has improved in your previous studying and that will be the perfect indicator of how much you can improve in the future unless you make some substantial and drastic changes.

Most test takers or rather most humans do not want to make drastic changes. Nobody wants to make drastic changes and most people believe that doing the same thing but perhaps with more time is the solution. Some blame prep materials or think that there are best or amazing or life-changing materials. It’s just math and grammar. Some courses do a much better job than others and some books are much better than others. But you should use a brain and judge yourself and judge improvement and if something doesn’t work, you should change what is not working…

Magoosh is actually a great product for intensive prep which is what you need it seems. At the same time, hitting 50th percentile on the GMAT is about 540. So you’re a long way from home and you really need to improve on absorbing the material and making sure you can apply it. My suggestion for you is to pick one section such as arithmetic or geometry or assumption questions or whatever you want. Whatever is the strongest area or your favorite area and work on it for the next two or three days and see how much you can improve it. Use variety of approaches and variety of methods and if one of them works, then you can apply the same approach to other sections and other steps. My recommendation would be to focus on your mistakes, Chase areas you don’t know, create notes for what you have learned and write down everything that you have discovered of value…. You can supplement with other study materials but I wouldn’t undertake a huge course right now that will take a ton of time to cover because covering is not the same as improving. I would suggest you take your aim at being able to answer 90% of medium difficulty questions. That should be a goal

This hits the spot, it is hard to make drastic changes but to keep it going is even harder.
"Whatever is the strongest area or your favorite area and work on it for the next two or three days and see how much you can improve it."- shouldn't I start from the weaker topic?

No, you should not start with the biggest weakness or the most difficult problem. You want to find the easiest opponent in the beginning, not the toughest one.

Because if you fail with a tough opponent, it’s easy to justify that it was expected. At the same time, if you cannot make a difference with an easy one, there’s no way to justify it. Also, an easy opponent allows you to make some mistakes, which you will be making a lot of as you find your footing.
