Hi sanjeevbaba29,

Before you invest in any additional materials, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) What were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores on this CAT?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) What Business School application deadline(s) are you facing?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi sanjeevbaba29,

I’m sorry to hear about your GMAT struggles. First off, I agree with your plan to focus more on concepts prior to doing any more random problems sets. With that said, I’m happy to provide some more advice; however I would like to learn more about your previous GMAT experience and future MBA goals. I have a few questions:

1) What is your GMAT score goal?

2) What is your study routine? For how many months have you been studying and for how many hours a day? For how many hours a day can you study for your retake? Have you only been using the official guide for your prep?

3) Can you provide the score breakdown of your practice exam? When you took the practice test, did you take it under realistic conditions (e.g. in a quiet environment, no extended breaks)?

4) To which schools do you plan to apply?

Once I have this information, I’ll be happy to provide some advice.
