Some man or woman got 300K base salary or/and 300K signing Bonus at Wharton.

That's a lot. I think you must consider that some people have pre-arranged jobs and salaries. Didn't Donald Trump's daughter go to Wharton, and then take over as president of a division or something?
That said, average 1st year comp for I-banking was about 230k this year, with a typical range of 200-270k.
