the choices given are modifier clauses and they are supposed to modify 'Styles'

Usage of 'With' in 'A' & 'B' doesn't modify Styles - usage is awkward and modifies companies

In the remaining choices

Each is always singular so 'D' seems to be right one

India, like Italy and China, has no single dominant cuisine: Indian food comprises many different styles of cooking, with each a product of their regional influences, from the fiery vegetarian dishes of the south to the Portuguese-influenced Goan cooking of the west, to the more familiar Mogul food of the north.

(A) with each a product of their
(B) with each as a product of its
(C) each products of their
(D) each a product of
(E) each products of

D too but reveal your answer later. first let the members work on it.

with is almost always wrong as a modifying phrase.

Very good question kaijen.

Its between B and D . But except for "its" in B how to concretely eliminate B?

D is more succint but I think an explanation to how to eliminate B would be good

Thanks!

between B and D too and ended with D.
Though I feel that D should have "of which" or some sort, I think it is still the best answer. B has no clear reference of "its" and a comma with before "with" (Fistail point this out) is not preferred.

another vote for D, B is eliminated since 'with' seems odd.

Do not choose option which starts with 'with' unless you are very sure about it. More often than not 'with' makes a sentence awkward.

My answer is D.
