Hi everyone, I am preparing for GMAT since last three months. I have completed OG-17, Kaplan Premier and partially e-gmat verbal course. Because of work and family commitments, my preparation was quite off and on, so I couldn't give the required amount of pace to the studies. I scored 630 in a recent mock with Q-50 and V-26. My target score is 700 and I m planning to give test in mid August. Fortunately, I got leave from my work from this Saturday till 16 August 16. Thus I have total 38 days away from office. I request if any member can guide me on a proper and structured study plan.

Your case is same is mine but I am not married
...and even I got heavy work schedule but still I am making out some time for my exam and it is in Sept 2016.I purchased EGMAT full GMAT course
You got full solid five-week period to study and you need to prepare atleast 5 to 8 hours a day.
For Verbal :
As you mentioned that you finished the EGMAT verbal partially, I would suggest you to brush the SC in 7 days.
CR - 7 days
RC - Daily at least three small passages.
Within in a week you have to finish SC+ CR and daily three small passages and also track time. If you dedicate 6 hours daily on average = 7 days * 6 hours = 42 hours.
Also you see your progress in scholarnaium.
Now dedicate alteast one to two hours for quant.
For Quant :
First you download the GMATclub math pdf version and treat this as Bible and you have to finish daily one topic and at least you need to practice 20 to 30 questions different models.
Follow this GMATclub posted questions topic wise for both Verbal and Quant. ( type GMATclub RC directory in google ) and same for other sections too.
Maintain an error log for every mock test. Max within 2 weeks all your Verbal + Quant basics should be completed ideally.
I hope through EGMAT purchase, you would have got 800score mocks + GMATprep 2 exams. From 3rd to 5th week, you need to give atleast one mock for every four/five days that comes around 2 mocks in a week.
Have faith in you and in God.... Impossible is nothing and even 700...

I"d like to know a bit more about all of your practice CAT scores so far:
When you took your CATs:
1) How did you score on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each)?
2) Did you take the ENTIRE CAT each time (including the Essay and IR sections)?
3) Did you take them at home?
4) Did you take them at the same time of day as your Official GMAT?
5) Did you ever do ANYTHING during your CATs that you couldn't do on Test Day (pause the CAT, skip sections, take longer breaks, etc.)?
6) Did you ever take a CAT more than once?
With 38 days, you can certainly make some big improvements to your Verbal Scaled Score. However, if those Verbal Scaled Scores are consistently in the V20s, then you've likely developed some 'bad habits' that will take time to fix (and replace with new 'good habits').
