Hi everyone,
First, I'd like to thank all the contributor on this site. You guys are awesome! This last few weeks would be a torture if there weren't resources like gmatclub.com. I am hoping you can use your wisdom to help guide me through this grueling process as I have started my GMAT prep last month. When I initially took the diagnostic exam on the Kaplan website, I scored a 450. (Q:24, V:27) Then after going over the basic concepts and practice quizzes, I took the exam again today. My scores stayed the same, but the breakdown was different. 450 overall, (Q: 30, V22). I am glad to see an improvement on my quant score, but not so happy to see the decline on the verbal. What should I do to increase both my scores drastically? I have already burned through 90% of the Kaplan books. Should I start doing questions from the OG? I appreciate any feedback anyone can provide. Thanks!

Funny. I'm in the same exact situation. Prior to starting the Knewton course, I scored a lets a 490, then two weeks later I again scored 490. I was a bit discouraged but I felt I learned a lot in those few Knewton courses. I wouldn't lose hope. Perhaps you were a bit off that (I was). Just go back to studying and take another CAT in few weeks and hopefully you'll improve.
