Hey.. just got back from my second GMAT attempt, a shocking 450 (Q 30, V21).
First attempt was in early Feb, hardly studied-490. Since then, I took the Kaplan Course, studied OG material, and answered Kaplan 800 questions book. Took 10 practice exams including 2 GMAC prep ones, score in Kaplan exams ranged from 560- 590 (once 650), GMAT prep 560 and 570.
Went it today, no anxiety or anything, scored 450, after spending 2 hours per day, 8 /weekends, on top of a full time job (consulting).
I dont know what to do. Do I take it again in a month again, meanwhile, do what? go over all my books again? PLEASE ADVISE! I was confident that I will score at least 560-580. Couldnt believe my eyes when i saw the 450.
Math section I spent alot of time on the first 12 questions, ended up rushing on 22+....that probably killed me because I normally scored 39-41 on quant, and 29-35 on Verbal. English is my second language.
I was aiming for 580 +
