It depends. First of all, what is your target score? Also, how are you scoring on lower level questions? Getting 700 level questions correct does not necessarily mean that you will be better at lower level questions. Make sure you are really good at the lower level content before making your way up.

KW
when practicing 600-700 level qns in Verbal Section i get around 65% of those right, but when i approach the 700+ level Verbal qns i get only 30% of them right. what score should i expect in the verbal section. Thanks in advance :)

Hi Takdir,

The scoring algorithm on the Official GMAT is far more complicated than most people realize. It takes into account a number of different factors - far more than just the number of correct and incorrect answers - so we can't guess at how you will score in that section based on the data that you're talking about.

Have you taken any FULL-LENGTH CATs (with the Essay and IR sections) yet? If you have, then you should already have an idea of how well you will perform in the Verbal section (and in the Test overall). If you have not, then you really should plan to take one soon (as taking realistic CATs, at regular intervals, is an essential part of the study process).
