NEVER AVOID SOMETHING YOU STRUGGLE WITH! (or something with which you struggle;) ).

Why risk $250 (cost of the test) when going into it you know you're not 100% prepared. While it may be possible, alter your perspective, study Comb & Perm and get Q51!

^ so true. +1.

On average, most people spend over 100+ hours preparing for this exam. What is the cost of spending another hour or two or three to master a topic which has been known to come up on the exam?

Agree! I had 2-3 prob/comb on my exam. Do not avoid your weak points.

I've done the exam twice in the past two years, 51Q each time. The first time, there were no combinatronics questions, the second there was one. Though the importance of combinatronics is overrated, do go through the ones in GMATPrep to be on the safe side. Somebody who is capable of 50+ can surely master the concepts in a couple of hours

Not related to this thread, but that is exactly what I've been doing with SC. In my GMAT prep 1, i got 9 SC problem wrong, (only 2 in RC and none in CR) still i'm avoiding some serious SC study. I've never posted anything in SC section, I dont even visit SC threads

I'm living in a state of denial that someday SC will just click for me. Need to come out of it.

Thanks for posting that in CAPS......
