I think it's only a good tool for the very beginning of the stage for school selection.
There are many other factors that are not taken into account by this tool.

There really is not way to predict it. I know people with 780s who didn't get a dime at the GSB and people with 600's who did. People with 3.9 GPAs and people with 3.0 GPAs. Apply where you want to go - and then let the chips fall where they may.
