I took the GMAT for the second time today. 680 (Q47,V36)
My quest for a good score started in Sept. when I took the powerprep test without any preparation and scored a 510
Nov. 28 I took the GMAT for the first time and scored a 610 (Q42, V32). I had a tough time with the analysis of an issue essay which set a negative tone for the rest of my test. What I think really hurt my score was my attitude going into the test. You must think positive and keep a clear head or the test will win! The last two weeks I wrote an analysis of an issue essay every morning and concentrated on SC.
Today I went into the test with a positive attitude and didn't let the test get to me. BTW I never scored this high on any of my practice tests. Today was my day

510 to 610 to 680.
I take these numbers as a numerical progression where
A(1) = 510, A(n) = A(n-1) + (160 - 30n).
Obviously, A(4) = 720.
Keep it up and believe you can!

I really appreciate your determination & improvement! Probably, you can think of trying one more time, unless you are targetting schools for which 680 is good enough!
