i got 550
quant 40 (62 percentile)
verbal 26(44 percentile)
in my previous attempt which was in september i got
quant 39 (57 percentile)
verbal 25 ( 38 percentile)
after my previous attempt i studied hard for 2months
i was aiming for 650 plus
i revised OG two times and also took flt from kaplan princeton ets paper tests... i thought i improved a lot in verbal
in the ets paper tests in verbal i used to get 90%correct in CR AND SC and 60%correct in RC
my experience with the test
quant
the first two questions were ok .little did i knew at that time what was awaiting for me
the third question stumped me ....i eventually had to guess on it
and my morale went down
after this i found all questions to be difficult
tougher than anything i had ever seen ....tougher tha kaplan (there wasnt any question in kaplan cd rom where i got blank )
and no where closer to the bible OG
i devoted maximum time doing OG and i did it religiously
after that even the easier problems seemed tough
however i managed to finish it off in time
i thought i will get 35 in quant which is way lower than my previous score
i thought i should cancel my scores
then came verbal
verbal was easy
close to OG
and i thought i was doing well
i was expecting atleast 34 plus but got 26
i dont know how
i guessed i RC that was between q 32 to 36
is that the reason i got a low score
i had to as i was short of time
now what do i do ...
after 2 months my score improved by only 10 points
this is very depressing
is there any chance that i can improve my score further by more than 10 points

Don't get disappointed AD.
Are you planning on taking the GMAT again ?
If so then give yourself a week or so to relax and and rejuvenate. Then hit the gmat boks with renewd vigour ... I think you might want to experiment a little bit with the tevhniques you use to appor\ac the questions.
Though it seems that nervousness hoits you on exam day. You should work on that a little bit ... try to relax and forget about scores and B-school admissions and such things while taking the GMAt .. and remember one of the golden rules while taking the GMAt ..."Don't think about how you did on the previous question". Do read the other articles on tet day and time management on this website .. they might help you.
