Re: 570 (Q42, V26) after 3m of prep; retake, enrolment advice? [#permalink]

Hi,

I would say you have pretty much answered your question. I would suggest taking it later in November. As you have pointed out, it will be beneficial to you all around. In the meantime, being that you are a non-native English speaker and that your Verbal score isn’t up to par with your Quant score, I would work on Verbal basics. Get yourself a good grammar book, go over just the beginning concepts until you feel you really have fully embraced them. From there, jump back into the more difficult Verbal questions. Being that English is not your first language, this test is even more difficult for you. For native English speakers, by improving verbal will basically just help verbal, whereas for you, working on verbal will also assist in your quant section a bit. It willen enhance your ability to fully grasp all of the questions. From reading your post, your English is fairly spot on, but it cannot hurt to keep brushing up on it. Here is a blog you may find encouraging which discusses taking the GMAT as a non-native English speaker:

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Sincerely,
Evan
