Hey guys!
A friend of mine and myselft are taking our GMAT Mid January and are starting our preparations at the moment. We are thinking about preparing via
Magoosh and were wondering if there is any kind of
6 week full-time study plan?We have seen the 3 month plan, however, it is designed for people who are peparing part-time. We would approximatly have 10h a day for 7weeks while taking one week off ( Chistmas
).
Materials:- Manhattan Strategy Guide (6th)
- OGs
-
Magoosh Premium (if we find a plan)
Target: 700+Thanks in advance and good luck with your tests!
Best, Paul
So far we have purchased the Manhattan Review books as well as the
OG.
Dear Paul,
This is Mike McGarry from
Magoosh. I'm happy to respond.
Here's what I'll say. We have a very thorough
1-month study plan designed for 4 weeks. That schedule is a four-week sprint. I would say, as best you can, stretch that schedule out.
One option would be to take every two days of the schedule and spread the work out over three days. That might afford you extra time to dip into the
MGMAT books a little each day.
Another option would be to get into a rhythm, every three days, of two days on the
Magoosh schedule and then one day purely with the
MGMAT books. That would probably be more intense, more of a six week sprint, but it would make it more likely that you would maximize your exposure to everything these two very powerful sources,
Magoosh &
MGMAT, have to offer.
I will also caution you: getting a 700+ depends on A LOT more than just the sources you use. Lots of people use the
MGMAT books and lots of people use
Magoosh. All these people are exposed to all the content they would need to get a 700+ score, but relatively few do. See this blog:
GMAT Study Plan for a 700 or MoreDoes all this make sense? Let me know if you have further questions, and I wish you and your friend the very best of luck!
