6 Weeks to CBS EMBA-NY’s Fri/Sat. Final Deadline – Still Time?
The Columbia EMBA-NY Friday/Saturday Program has its final deadline on May 26, 2021. If you are considering applying to Columbia but are concerned you have waited too long, you will be happy to know that Columbia’s EMBA representatives have been telling candidates recently that there is still room in the class that will begin in August 2021.
Given how busy executives remain with their demanding careers and family responsibilities, candidates often delay their application work until the deadlines begin to loom. Additionally, some candidates may have applied to a different school and were waiting to hear back from that school before setting their sights on Columbia. The good news: it is still possible to mobilize a strong application for The Columbia EMBA-NY Friday/Saturday Program.
What are some steps that can help you submit soon?
First, recognize that you can submit your application before taking your Executive Assessment, GMAT, or GRE exam. Usually, the schools will accept your standardized test score up to a few weeks after you submit your written materials. So, you should strive to prepare your essays, resume, and application form soon. Remember, an outstanding application resume is somewhat different than a job resume, so be certain to revise your resume optimally. Also, devote time to crafting essays with outstanding and compelling content.
Second, approach your recommendation writers soon, so they can begin working on the recommendations. Many schools allow you to turn in your recommendations up to a couple of weeks after you submit your essays and application form, but your application will not be reviewed until the recommendations are in. So, get moving on those.
People who attend the Columbia EMBA-NY program tend to love it! Happily, there is still time to make the Columbia final deadline!
