6 years of Product Management and Marketing experience in finance and tech (Own Startup).
Got an admit here and at Beedie (SFU), Canada.
Post MBA goal is to get into Product Marketing role in Consumer Products/Technology.
Is DeGroote the right choice for it? I've heard its more Finance focused, plus Beedie has better location than it (Downtown compared to Burlington). Also DeGroote's class has more students on the lower side of the work-ex ladder, compared to Beedie, so I am not sure how far they contribute to classroom experience.
What might be a better choice? Thoughts?
Ohk, ftf, the Degroote offers two programs, Co-OP AND full time
So the full time class, i.e the class you'd be enrolled in would have people with 4+ years of work ex
Now I have never heard the name of university you said so I won't say much about it
However, you definitely will find a better living cost at Burlington and it is just like an hour away from Toronto,
It is not like living in toronto will get you anything, you're going out only for internship
Burlington has low cost of living
Toronto however is very costly
But if the program is good, go for it.
