Let the total employees be 1000

60% of the employees of Due North Inc. are female: \(\frac{60 }{ 100} * 1000 = 600\)

Men employee: 1000 - 600 = 400

75% of men earn more than $25,000 per year: 75/100 * 400 = 300 men earn > $25,000.

45% of the company’s employees earn more than $25,000 per year: \(\frac{45}{100} * 1000 = 450\)

A female employee earning more than $25,000: 450 - 300 = 150

Therefore, female earning $25,000 or less: 600 - 150 = 450

The fraction of the women employed by the company earned $25,000 per year or less: \(\frac{450 }{ 600} = \frac{3}{4}\).
