Hi OK735,

It's difficult to answer your question without any data. Have you taken an official practice exam to get a baseline score? If so, can you provide the score breakdown?

Hi OK735,

About 6 weeks ago (back in early October), you posted that you were scheduled to take the GMAT on November 22nd and that your Score Goal was 700. With this recent post, it's not clear how you've been studying so far, so before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) Have you taken any practice CAT/mock tests yet? On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

How should I prepare for the GMAT for a month to get 600-650 score at least?
Is it possible to get 650 score on the GMAT in a month of study?

Hey OK725,

If you wish to finish your GMAT prep in a month, you need to spend at least 7-8 hours a day for studies and follow a strict study plan with clear deadlines. The study plan has to be made personalized according to your requirements. So, to suggest you anything specific, I would more information. So, it would be better if you can connect with me over a call and discuss your concerns and provide me a little background so that I can suggest you a proper study plan.

If you wish to connect, you can do so using the below link.

Hey Rich!
Thanks for your response.

My GMAT score has been stuck in the range of 500 to 550.

I have been studying for the GMAT for last two months with 20 hours of weekly prep.

How do I get to 600 to 650 in a month?

Hi OK735,

Since you are dealing with a limited timeframe, we have to be really specific about your studies up to now and your exact Goals (since in this shorter timeframe, there's a notable difference in performances between earning a 600 and earning a 650).

1) What specific study materials have you used so far?
2) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)? This data is important as it defines how you have been progressing and how you're handling each section of the Exam.
3) What is your exact planned Test Date?
4) What is your actual Score Goal? If you scored 600 in a month from now, would you keep studying and retest (with the goal of scoring higher)?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to? If it's sometimes soon, then what specific Admissions deadlines are you facing?
