hi everyone im new to this forum,
i started my prep for gmat by mid september and had my test booked for nov 20
Being a mechanical engineer i was good in quants but i lacked the skills for verbal especially SC.
the following were my practice test scores:
KAPLAN TEST 1 SEP 30-2011 660 Q51 V 26
GMAT PREP 1 OCT 1-2011 680 Q 49 V 34/35
GMAT PREP 2 NOV 1-2011 690 Q48 V 35
MGMAT 2 NOV 3-2011 640 Q44 V 34
MGMAT 4 NOV 4-2011 650 Q51 V 31
MGMAT 5 NOV-8 2011 700 Q49 V 36
MGMAT 6 NOV-9 2011 710 Q48 V 38
MGMAT 7 NOV -11 2011 670 Q47 V34
GMAT PREP 2 NOV -13 2011 750 Q49 V42
GMAT PREP 1 NOV-14 2011 700 Q49 V36
PRINCETON REVIEW NOV-16 2011 610 Q47 V28
GMAT 610 ( q 49 v 24)
although i never scored less than 30 ( except princeton review) i dunno what happened for the final exam even my prep scores were much higher than what i got in gmat. I think i screwed up in my timing. as i had just 10 minutes remaining for the last 10 q in verbal and hence had to rush through . Also my SC is pretty weak. I need to get a 700 plus score to get admitted to my preffered college. any advice on verbal prep ? esp sc?
