Hey guys!
So I just took my first GMAT this weekend, I went in cold, very minimal prep (I did ONE GMATClub CAT 1 Q, 1 V), solved couple OG Q's before diving in....
and I ended up doing better than what I expected (I think it was Q40/V34...?) in the real thing and on GMATClub I did Q36 and V33).
Now I set up a date for Sept to retake, what should I do? I work full-time as a dev (and pretty late...).
How should I structure my study schedule so that I... uh... actually study and do better on the retake?
I'm shooting for 730+.
I have Kaplan Guide, MGMAT guides, and Math Revolution.
Any advices?

Hi milly800,
A 610 is a solid initial performance (the average score on the Official GMAT hovers around 540-550 most years). With the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores that you listed, you'll likely need to improve in BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections to hit your score goal though.
To come up with a proper study plan, it would help if you could provide a bit more information about your timeline and goals:
1) Have you actually scheduled your next Test Date yet?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
4) How many hours do you think that you can study during a typical week?

Yes, I have! I signed up for Sept 10, 2016!
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
After I see my Sept scores, I think. I wouldn't want to apply until my score is great.
3) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
T10 schools, but my dream schools are Haas and Stanford.
4) How many hours do you think that you can study during a typical week?
I think I can spare at least an hour to at most 2 hours per weekday. On weekends, I can probably do 5 or 6 hours a day.
